Ecology is the study of interactions that take place bewtween organisms and their environment, which includes biotic and abiotic factors.  A biotic factor is anything that is living that affects other things, and an abiotic factor is something that is not living that affects other things.  On this website, you will find how differnt species interact with each other in a environment of a forest.
